AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA men's soccer standout
Rafael Kawata has been named to the PBC all-conference team, which was announced Friday.
Kawata, a junior midfielder from Taubate, Brazil, leads head coach
Nick Sakiewicz's team in goals, assists and points.
The newcomer sports a team-best four goals. He also has a team-high six assists for 14 points on the squad.
Kawata registered a goal and an assist in the win over Barton. He dished out an assist in the victory over Erskine. In two matches against Middle Georgia State, Kawata tallied two goals and two assists. He netted a goal in the tie at Flagler. Kawata posted assists in the tie at Georgia Southwestern and in the home finale match against the Saints.
He is sixth in the PBC in assists and is tied for ninth in points.
