AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's cross country team finished third at the Augusta Jaguar Invitational Saturday.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team was led by
Julian Mendoza's 16
th-place finish. He led the pack with his 8k time of 29:35.35. Newcomer
Joey Burdick wasn't too far behind, taking 20
th after crossing in 30:04.04. Returner
David Witt had a solid showing after finishing in 30:07.48 for 21
st place.
Patrick Davis also turned in a solid performance after claiming 23
rd. He posted a time of 30:22.02.
Riley Campbell returned to action with a time of 31:58.42 for 32
nd place. Newcomer
Tyler Blowe was a spot behind Campbell in a time of 32:16.61.
Jason Embrose and
Julian Salas were 44
th and 48
th, respectively.
The Pacers return to action Sept. 17 at the Julius Johnson Invitational, which is hosted by Mercer in Macon, Ga.
