AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head volleyball coach Glenn Cox, is pleased to announce the addition of Kaitlyn Lund to the 2022 team.

Lund, a native of Birmingham, Ala., is a graduate transfer from Tennessee Southern.

The 6-2 middle blocker earned all-conference accolades twice as well as all-freshman team honors in 2018. Tennessee Southern did not participate in volleyball during the 2020 season.

As a senior, Lund appeared in 23 matches and slammed home 151 kills while sporting a .202 attack percentage. She also accounted for 16 solo blocks and 66 block assists on the season.

A two-time all-academic team honoree, Lund registered a .246 attack percentage while slamming home 270 kills. She notched 128 total blocks on the year, including 21 solo stops.
