AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken softball standout
Mallory Shaver has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Month for February.
Shaver, a freshman from Mint Hill, N.C., led the Pacers to a 9-7 month.
She leads the Pacers with a .490 batting average and a 1.421 OPS. She leads the team with 25 hits, five homers, six doubles, 23 RBI and 46 total bases. Shaver's .902 slugging percentage also tops the team as does her .519 on-base percentage.
Shaver leads the PBC in slugging percentage, RBI and home runs. She is also in the top 10 in the league in batting average, hits and doubles.
Shaver was named the PBC Player of the Week on Feb. 21.
The South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month award honors one student-athlete each month from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort. Each month during the 2021-22 athletic year one winner will be chosen from an in-season sport.
