AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team heads to the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in the last 10 years after earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Southeast Region Sunday night.
The Pacers are the No. 8 seed and will take on the host Bulldogs of Wingate (29-2). USC Aiken (19-13) is coming off a PBC Tournament run that culminated with an epic five-set match against Flagler in the championship match.
The rest of the bracket is set with No. 2 Augusta taking on No. 7 UNC Pembroke, No. 3 Carson-Newman battling No. 6 Flagler and No. 4 Anderson squaring off against No. 5 Lander.

Glenn Cox's team has won six of its last eight matches on the season.
It marks the first NCAA Tournament appearance for the program since the 2019 campaign. USC Aiken made the NCAA Tournament in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The Pacers advanced to the Elite Eight in 2016 and made the Sweet 16 in 2018.
Wingate holds a 13-10 edge in the all-time series against USC Aiken.
The tournament will take place Friday-Saturday-Sunday in Wingate, N.C. More information will follow after a teleconference Monday afternoon.
