Each week, the University of South Carolina Aiken will produce weekly notes. This week, USC Aiken plays at Georgia College on Wednesday before hosting Allen on Saturday.
Pitching The Shutout
Against North Georgia, USC Aiken earned the shutout tie. The Pacers picked up their seventh shutout of the season. It is just one behind the school record of eight shutouts set in 2000 when the team went 12-8-1 and finished 2-2-1 against league foes.
Earning The Point
The Pacers picked up one point in the tie with North Georgia. It marked the first positive result the program has had against the Nighthawks since 2007, which was also a 0-0 draw.
Big Week Ahead
With one more league regular-season match remaining, the Pacers have a chance to control their own destiny. The team has secured a PBC Tournament bid but has a chance to move up in the standings. After the match at Georgia College on Wednesday, the team steps out of league play for a match against Allen to wrap up the regular season.

The Pacers have one regular-season home match left – against Allen. USC Aiken has already had Senior Day, but it marks the last time that the program's

Baylea Payne will have a chance to play at Pacer Pit.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USC Aiken plays at Georgia College & State on Wednesday, oct. 19 before hosting Allen on Saturday, Oct. 22 in the regular-season finale. Since the program began, the Pacers are 44-79-12 (37.0 percent) in Wednesday matches and 45-106-12 (31.3 percent) in Saturday affairs. During the same time, the team is 0-3 on Oct. 19 and 3-6 on Oct. 22.
