COLUMBUS, Ga. – The USCA women's soccer team lost a 4-0 decision at No. 3 Columbus State Saturday in the PBC Quarterfinals.
The Pacers wrap up the season at 8-7-3.

Savannah Yerger turn away four shots within a three-minute span in the early going.
Down 1-0 in the 12
th minute, USCA continued to keep the match at a one-score contest through brilliant defensive efforts. Yerger foiled numerous other attempts in the opening period.
With just under five minutes to play,
Ashtyn Ivey blasted a shot toward the goal, but it was saved by the keeper. The Pacers earned two corner kicks, but the squad was unable to record a shot in the waning moments before halftime.
The Cougars extended the margin to 2-0 with a goal at the 57:38 mark. CSU netted a pair of late goals for a 4-0 advantage.
However, Kleman's team continued to push forward. In the 87
th minute,
Shy Iles ripped an attempt, but it was foiled by the keeper. As USCA continued to play in the offensive third of the pitch,
Lexi Blasberg's shot at the 89:24 mark missed high.
For the match, Yerger stopped 14 shots in goal.
