SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's cross country team took 25
th at the 2021 Converse Kick-Off Saturday morning.
The Pacers were led by rookie
Patrick Davis in the 8k event. His time of 29:17.9 was good enough for 107
th place in a packed field.
Fellow freshman
Julian Mendoza notched a time of 31:42.4. Mendoza was followed closely by newcomer
David Witt and his time of 32:58.6.
David Weidner garnered a time of 33:11.6 while
Kyle Ready (39:57.1) and
Julian Salas came across in 41:32, rounding out the team.
Emory won the meet. Wingate and Anderson were second and third, respectively.
The Pacers return to action when they compete at the Koala Classic on Oct. 2.
