AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball standout
Kwajelin Farrar has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 26, 2020.
Farrar, a redshirt-junior from Grovetown, Ga., averaged a team-best 16.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in two games. She also hit 13-of-19 from the floor (68.4 percent) and had a team-high two steals in 58 minutes of work.
Against UNC Pembroke, Farrar hit six-of-eight shots from the floor en route to a 14-point effort. She also grabbed 12 rebounds in the contest.
At Lander, Farrar netted a team-best 15 points and snagged 15 rebounds. She connected on seven-of-11 shots from the floor.
Farrar leads the PBC with 11.1 rebounds a contest. She is in the top five in points per game and field goal percentage.
