AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball standout Kwajelin Farrar  has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 22, 2019.

Farrar, a redshirt-junior from Grovetown, Ga, guided the Pacers to a 1-1 week.

Against Columbus State, Farrar went eight-for-13 from the floor while pouring in 17 points. She also snagged 13 rebounds in the outing.

In the victory over Georgia Southwestern, she went off for 29 points and 17 rebounds. Eight of the boards were on the offensive glass.

For the week, Farrar averaged 23 points and 15 rebounds. She also had two steals and a pair of blocks on the week.

Against the Cougars, Farrar scored her 1,000^th career point.
