USC Aiken Earns Second-Place Finish

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's cross country team finished second at the Garden City Meet Friday.

Head coach Lauren Etheridge's team was led by Riley Campbell's seventh-place effort in 22:34.36. David Weidner was just behind him, taking eighth. Tales Silva continued his solid season, placing ninth.

Kieran Short, Kyle Ready and Joshua Whitley rounded out the runners for USC Aiken. Juan Diaz was just behind Whitley in the 26-person field.

The Pacers return to action Saturday at the PBC Championship, which is hosted by UNC Pembroke. The meet is slated to start at 10:15 a.m.
