Misiri Makes Things Happen

Jordan Misiri has been at or near the focal point of the USC Aiken men's soccer team throughout his time at school. In the win over rival Newberry, Misiri found the back of the net for what turned out to be the game-winning goal. It marked his fourth game-winning goal of his career – and the first since his sophomore campaign.
Nearly A Year
The USC Aiken men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 win at Newberry last week. It marked the first road win for the program since a 3-0 blanking of Erskine on Sept. 20, 2017.
Kenneth Is Clutch

Kenneth Kalek was outstanding in his first bit of collegiate competition. On Sept. 4, he got the starting nod at Newberry. He promptly played all 90 minutes while posting 10 saves en route to earning the clean sheet win.
Back On Track
The USC Aiken men's soccer team will look to get back on track after splitting a pair of matches last week. With Barton being the lone match of the week, the Pacers will vie for their first home win of the season – and the first since a 4-3 overtime win over Francis Marion on Oct. 11, 2017.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USC Aiken hosts Barton on Wednesday, Sept. 12. Since moving to Division II, USC Aiken is 41-91-19 (33.4 percent) in Wednesday contests. However, the team is 3-3-1 on Sept. 12 during the same time period.

This week, USC Aiken hosts Barton on Wednesday, Sept. 12. The Pacers trail the all-time series to the Bulldogs 2-1. However, the teams haven't played in over a decade. It marks the second trip by Barton to Aiken, S.C. The first time the teams squared off in Aiken was Sept. 3, 2005 – and the Bulldogs came away with a. 1-0 win. The last time the teams faced one another was Sept. 4, 2006 – and USC Aiken won 3-0.
