AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team is among the nation's top statistical team in multiple categories.
Head coach
Glenn Cox's squad is second in total assists (1,677) and total digs (2,286). The squad is third in digs per set (20.23) and total kills (1,626). The team is fourth in assists per set (13.78), kills per frame (14.39), 10
th in attacks per set (39.50) and 12
th in total attacks (4,464).
The Pacers top the PBC in assists per set, digs per set, kills per set, opponent hitting percentage, total assists, total attacks per set, total digs and total kills. The team is second in total attacks.
Individually,
Danielle Mercer is fifth nationally in total digs (654) and 16
th in digs per set (5.79).
Emily Teelon is 19
th in assists per set (11.22). Both students top the PBC.
Teelon leads the league in total assists (1,133). Stratton is second on the team in kills per set (3.98) and third in points per frame (4.30).
Julia Forster is third in total kills (381).
The Pacers return to action Friday when they travel to Georgia College for the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. The league will announce match-ups tonight after the final regular-season match.
