Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C.--USC Aiken's women's soccer team fell to Queens University of Charlotte, 5-1, today in Charlotte, N.C. The Lady Pacers (0-1-2) allowed three first period goals and never climbed back into the game. Hayley Pasko scored twice for the Royals (1-2-0) and junior Jen Mascarin recorded the only score for USCA.

Queens got on the board early when Tamara Diaz-Matosas beat USC Aiken goalkeeper Shannon Hobbs at the 14:35 mark. Pasko scored her first goal nearly 14 minutes later. Maria Housiadas scored at the 32:30 mark and Queens took a 3-0 lead into the break.

Two minutes into the second period, the Royals struck again, this time Colleen Morton took a pass from Kelsey Ball and gave Queens a 4-0 advantage.

Mascarin's first goal of the season came 22 minutes into the second frame but that would turn out to be the lone highlight for the USC Aiken offense. Senior Amanda Faulknham assisted on the goal.

Pasko added her second score of the day on a penalty kick with just over three minutes remaining in the match. Pasko, Housiadas and Jackie Groff each finished with four shots to lead the Royals. Natasha DaCosta attempted a team-high four shots for the Lady Pacers.

Jenny Hasik picked up the win for Queens after making six saves and allowing just one goal in 90 minutes of play.

USC Aiken will conclude its three-match road trip on Saturday when the Lady Pacers travel to Lakeland, Fla., to face Florida Southern College at 5:00 p.m.
