Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 FLORENCE, S.C.--USC Aiken's softball team won four of five games this weekend at the 2004 Francis Marion University Patriot Invitational. The Lady Pacers beat Coker College, 7-6, and lost to Catawba College, 2-1, in eight innings on Friday. On Saturday, USCA defeated Barton College, 9-0, St. Andrews, 3-0, and Mount Olive College, 13-1. USC Aiken improves to 18-14 overall this season and has already matched the win total of last year's 18-25 squad.

Jami Cornwell went three-for-three with two RBIs in the win over Coker College. JoAnn Jones earned the win. In the pitching duel with Catawba College, Sarah Harvey hit her second home run of the season. Samantha Blair came on in relief of Amy Fox and took the loss. 

Blair went back to the mound for the first game on Saturday and shutout Barton College to earn her seventh win of the season. Jennifer Scott went three-for-three against the Bulldogs with her eighth home run of the season.

Jones allowed six hits and struck out four batters, in the 3-0 win over St. Andrews, to improve her record to 7-4. Jayme Durand went two-for-four and Temeka Floyd scored two of USC Aiken's three runs.

USCA wrapped up the weekend by hammering Mount Olive College 13-1. Cornwell finished three-for-four with three RBIs. Durand went three-for-four as well with two RBIs. Fox (4-4) allowed just four hits and one run.

The Lady Pacers will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Clinton, S.C., for a non-conference doubleheader against Presbyterian College, beginning at 2:00 p.m. USC Aiken split a doubleheader at Pacer Park with the Lady Blue Hose on Feb. 13.
