Box Score AIKEN, SC--The USC Aiken Lady Pacers (3-4-2) snapped its four-game winless streak with a 3-0 blanking of the Lee University Lady Flames (7-3-1) on Saturday evening in women's non-conference soccer action at "Pacer Pit" in Aiken, SC. The Lady Pacers posted ties in two of their last four contests, but picked up their first win since a 3-1 victory over Mount Olive on September 21.
Freshman
Melissa Schnoering netted her sixth goal of the season just 1:49 into the match to give USC Aiken a 1-0 lead. Senior
Stacey Courtwright (2) crossed a pass from the top right corner of the 17-yard box and found an open Schnoering in front to bang home the goal.

Julie Padgett (2) tallied two second-half assists as
Andrea Lloyd and
Jen Mascarin each picked up their first goals of the season.
Lloyd's came off a corner kick at 74:20 while
Mascarin's was from an indirect cross at 81:41.
Starting in goal for the Lady Pacers and posting her second shutout of the season was freshman
Amber Markley (1-0-2). She recorded four saves on nine shots faced.
Rochelle Torrance had three shots, two on goal, serving as the biggest threat for Lee University, a member of the NAIA's TransSouth Athletic Conference.
USC Aiken travels to Mt. Vernon, GA for a non-conference showdown with Brewton-Parker College on Tuesday, October 8 at 2:00 PM.
