GREENVILLE, Tenn. – The USC Aiken women's soccer team lost a 6-0 contest at Tusculum Sunday at Pioneer Field.
The Pioneers took a lead they would not surrender at the 13:49 mark as Amy Miller chipped home a Kelsa Eschman pass. Miller's goal was the first scored by the Pioneers in 405 minutes, a span of six games. The score remained 1-0 through halftime.
However coming out of the half, the Pacers made a keeper switch that would prove costly.
Kellie Young entered the game, replacing
Tiffany Thursby. Three minutes into the second half it was Miller Time again, the time the sophomore netted a cross from Mindy Lawson.
In all, the Pioneers tallied five second-half goals in the win.
