Women's Soccer

USCA Women's Soccer Blanks Alabama-Huntsville 2-0

Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – The USC Aiken women's soccer team took the lead early over Alabama-Huntsville and never looked back. In the sixth minute of play, freshman Kristen Schreiber took a pass from sophomore Shaela Linn and beat the Lady Chargers goalkeeper, Laura Johnson, one on one.

It was Schreiber's 10th goal and 23rd points of the season, both team highs for the Lady Pacers.

Then with 13:57 to play in the game, sophomore Kelly Shemansky's shot pulled reserve goalkeeper Angela Nelson out of the net and freshman Lisa Bell was there to drill home the open net goal.

For the game, the Lady Pacers dominated control of the game from the outset, outshooting the Lady Chargers 20-7.

Kellie Young was in goal for USCA and made one save in notching her second shutout in 11 games.
