AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Henry Bolton III has been named the USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 19, 2016.

Bolton III, a native of Avon Park, Fla., guided the Pacers to a near-historic win over Southern Wesleyan and put up solid numbers in a pair of Peach Belt Conference contests.

Bolton III accounted for 15.7 points over the three games. He drained 17-of-35 shots from the floor (.486), including a seven-of-13 effort from downtown (.538). For good measure, he chipped in six-of-nine free throws.

Bolton III led the team with 10 assists on the week and was tied for the team lead with four steals. His 4.3 rebounds per game were third most on the squad.

The USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
