AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball standout Taylor Stratton has been named the USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 4, 2016.

Stratton, a native of Chesapeake, Va., guided the Pacers to their first-ever berth in the Elite Eight.

Named to the Southeast Region all-tournament team, Stratton led everyone with 51 kills, averaging 4.25 a frame. She was second in the tournament in kills per set (5.25) and hitting percentage (.351).

Stratton helped the Pacers overcome a 2-0 deficit against Queens by posting career-high efforts with 23 kills and 25 digs. She accounted for a pair of double-double performances at the regional.

The USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
