AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball standout Julia Forster has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery Student-Athlete of the Month for November.

Forster, a native of Long Island, N.Y., guided the Pacers to a 6-1 record in the month of November.

Forster started the month with a 20-kill, nine-dig effort in the win at Columbus State. She notched 17 kills, seven digs and two blocks in the victory at Montevallo.

She posted nine kills and five digs while splitting time in the win at UNC Pembroke. Forster notched 12 kills in home victories against Augusta and Georgia College. Then, in the PBC Quarterfinals, she pounded home 11 kills and hit .280 in the victory against the Bobcats.

For the month, she posted a team-best 89 kills (3.30/set). She hit .200, had 31 digs and blocked eight shots.
