AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball standout Ali Kirk has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 16, 2018.

Kirk, a senior from St. Simons Island, Ga., guided the Pacers to a 1-0 week.

In the sweep of Paine, Kirk posted a season-high four aces – all of which came during the match-opening 12-0 run by USC Aiken.

Kirk’s four aces also marked match-high accolades. She dished out 14 assists and added a dig in two sets of work.

Kirk’s effort pushed USC Aiken’s record to 9-2 heading into PBC play this week.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
