AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is golf standout Erik Olin.

A native of Falsterbo, Sweden, Olin finished in a tie for 24^th at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional.

He tied with Oscar Abrahamsson, among others, to lead USCA to a seventh-place finish at the tournament.

Olin posted a team-low round of three-under par, 69, at the event. He notched the team low round during the first round of action.

Olin shot three-over par, 75, on Friday, before wrapping up the event with an even-par, 72, on Saturday.

His tournament helped the standout post the third-lowest single-season stroke average in school history.
