AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is golf standout Oscar Abrahamsson.

A native of Gothenburg, Sweden, Abrahamsson guided the Pacers to a second-place finish at the 28^th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.

The senior claimed the overall individual title of the 36-hole event by shooting two-under par, 138. Abrahamsson opened the tournament with a four-over 74 before firing a six-under par, 64, over the final 18 holes of competition.

Tied after the second round, Abrahamsson snagged the individual title on a playoff, recording a birdie on No. 16 for the title.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
