AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken softball standout Brianna Dow has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 24, 2022.

Dow, a senior from Camden, S.C., guided the Pacers to a 4-1 week.

She hit .500 for the week, going eight-for-16 at the plate. Dow led the team in hits, doubles, RBI and walks.

She posted a pair of multi-hit games and multi-RBI contests. Dow notched a career-high four hits to go along with three RBI in the 11-2 win at Flagler. She was two-for-three with two RBI in the 10-1 win over the Saints.

Dow was perfect in the field with four putouts and two assists.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
