AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA baseball standout Maverick Grigsby has been named the PBC Freshman of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Grigsby, a native of Lugoff, S.C., guided the Pacers to a 3-1 week.

In the win at Newberry, he went three-for-five with a double. Grigsby also scored three runs. In the victory over the Bobcats on Friday, he posted a single, drove in one and scored. Grigsby also notched three hits in four at bats with one RBI and a run scored in the series finale victory over GCSU.

For the week, he went seven-for-16 at the plate.
