Through challenges and perseverance,
Evan Harding's collegiate baseball journey is a testament to resilience and growth.
Now a graduate student on the baseball team at the USCA, Harding is in his seventh year of collegiate athletics after competing at three different schools and navigating multiple redshirt seasons. His first redshirt came when the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the season, and later in his junior year, he tore his ACL, ending his season and requiring surgery. That injury gave Harding a new appreciation for every opportunity he has on the field.
After transferring to USCA this year, Harding has naturally stepped into a leadership role as one of the team's older players. He focuses each day on setting expectations, leading by example and performing the way his teammates and coaches would hope.
In his interview, Harding reflects on the resilience baseball has taught him and the countless experiences he has had that he will carry with him long after his playing days are over.
