AIKEN, S.C. – After a tremendous 8-2 start, the USCA baseball team received votes in the latest D2Baseball national rankings.

Keith Gorman, in his first year at the helm of the program, led the Pacers to a 4-1 week.
USCA began last week with an 18-8 road win at Erskine. The team returned home and went 2-1 against Lynn. Gorman's squad rattled off a 16-3 victory in the series opener Friday evening. After dropping a 4-3 contest Saturday afternoon, the Pacers rebounded to clinch the series with a thrilling 6-5 walk-off win Saturday evening.
Tampa is No. 1 in the national poll while Central Missouri, North Greenville, UT Tyler and Catawba round out the top five programs.
The Pacers return to action Wednesday when they host Coker at 3 p.m. USCA opens PBC play Friday when they travel to Middle Georgia for a three-game series.
