AIKEN, S.C. – USCA women's basketball head coach Brittany Batts is excited to announce Nkosi Gaddy as her assistant coach.

"I am so excited to work with Coach Gaddy," Batts stated. "He is passionate about building something great at USCA and is a relentless worker. I know his commitment to the game and developing young women on and off the court will go far here.

"He always puts the team first in everything he does, and I am confident he is going to have a tremendous impact on our program. His knowledge and work ethic will help lead us to a lot of success in the community, in the classroom, on campus and on the court. We are so grateful to have him as part of our team!"

Gaddy, in his third year at USCA, spent the first two seasons as an assistant men's basketball coach.

During his time under head coach Mark Vanderslice, Gaddy worked with the program's Division II career leader for points scored (Jalen McCoy). Gaddy coached three student-athletes that earned accolades by the PBC during the 2024-25 campaign, including Defensive Player of the Year Simeon German.

Gaddy was a key cog of the coaching staff that led the program to a PBC Tournament Championship in 2024-25 and a PBC regular-season title during the 2023-24 season. Gaddy coached three all-conference selections in his first year as an assistant coach, including PBC Player of the Year Tyler Johnson.

Gaddy previously served as the assistant basketball coach at the Academy of Richmond County.

Gaddy served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Technician.
