AIKEN, S.C. – USCA baseball standout
Josh Sharp has been named to the NCBWA all-region team, which was recently announced.
Sharp, a senior from Lawrenceville, Ga., garnered second-team honors.
The all-PBC selection led Division II with 12 triples. The 12 three-bag hits set a school record and PBC record. Additionally, Sharp wrapped up his illustrious career as the program's all-time triples leader.
He finished the 2024 campaign as USCA's leader in batting average (.388), OPS (1.161), runs (72), hits (81), doubles (13), triples (12), total bases (142), slugging percentage (.679), walks (32), on-base percentage (.482), sacrifice hits (six) and steals (30).
The multi-time all-PBC selection finished his career as a .344 hitter. He scored 166 runs, tallied 254 hits, including 33 doubles, 20 triples and 11 home runs, and drove in 125 runs. Sharp slugged .487 and sported a .422 on-base percentage throughout his 194 games as a student-athlete.
