AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Student-Athlete of the Week is women's cross country standout Alaynah Guthrie.

The native of North Augusta, S.C., guided the Pacers to a fourth-place finish at the Sand Shark Invitational.

Guthrie crossed the finish line in a time of 19:11.4, earning a 12^th-place finish. Her school-record setting time bested the previous mark by five seconds.

Guthrie's effort led the Pacers to their best team finish this season and their best finish at the Sand Shark Invitational.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
