BEAUFORT, S.C. – The USCA men's cross country team finished 10
th at the Sand Shark Invitational Saturday.
Head coach
Jim Sprecher's team was led by
Daniel Kiprono's school-record setting time of 25:55.1, which was good enough for eighth place.
Jase Wilson garnered a 40
th-place finish at the 8k event. He finished the race in a personal-best time of 27:48.0.
Andrew Towner took 60
th after crossing the finish line in 29:16.7.
Avery Farthing was not far behind him, snagging 65
th place in a time of 30:00.6.
Tyler Blowe recorded a time of 30:26.1, which was good enough for 68
th place.
David Tarantino secured 72
nd place with a mark of 30:57.4.
Southeastern won the meet while Bethune-Cookman, Mount Olive, South Carolina State and Emmanuel rounded out the top five teams.
The Pacers return to action Saturday, Oct. 25, at the PBC Championship, which is hosted by Georgia College. The meet will begin at 10:15 a.m.
