AUGUSTA, Ga. - The USCA men's soccer team has been selected fifth in the PBC Preseason Poll, which was released today.
The poll was voted on by each of the league's head coaches, who were not allowed to vote on their own team.
First-year head coach
Nick Sakiewicz's team picked up 11 points for fifth place in the poll. Clayton State garnered five first-place votes and was selected first with 25 points. Lander (20 points) and Flagler (16 points) rounded out the top three. North Georgia tallied 13 points for fourth place while Georgia Southwestern accounted for five points.
The Pacers open the season Thursday, Sept. 5 when they take on Belmont Abbey at 5 p.m. The contest will be played at Catawba (Salisubry, N.C.).
