AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken baseball standout Josh Sharp has been named to the PBC all-conference team, as announced by the league office Thursday evening.

Sharp, a junior from Lawrenceville, Ga., garnered second-team honors.

The outfielder sports a team-high .385 batting average heading into the conference tournament. He played in 47 games, earning 46 starts. Sharp leads USC Aiken with 70 hits. His 33 RBI, 88 total bases and 39 runs scored also top the Pacers.

Sharp accounted for a team-high 19 steals. He also tallied team-best honors for slugging percentage (.484), on-base percentage (.465), OPS (.949) and sacrifice hits (seven).

On Apr. 29, Sharp garnered PBC Player of the Week honors after going 10-for-16 at the plate with nine RBI and five runs scored. Against USC Beaufort in the game two victory, Sharp drove in a career-high six runs. 

For the season, Sharp accounted for 22 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games. He tallied at least three hits seven times, including a four-of-four effort against Coker on Apr. 23.

Defensively, Sharp had 91 putouts and seven assists without an error.
