AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team is the No. 8 seed in the upcoming PBC Tournament.

Head coach Michael Holder's team will square off against top-seeded Lander in the first round of action in the double elimination tournament. 

The tournament will be played over two rounds: May 3-5 and May 9-10. The opening weekend will feature two sites with four teams each in a double-elimination bracket. The two winners will meet in the second round for a best-of-three championship series. 

At Lander this weekend, the Bearcats will also have No. 4 Georgia Southwestern, No. 5 Flagler and the eighth-seeded Pacers. Second-seeded Georgia College & State will host No. 3 Columbus State, No. 6 North Georgia, and No. 7 Augusta.
