AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken baseball standout
Jackson Hannon has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Month for April.
A native of Lexington, S.C., Hannon led the Pacers to a 10-9 month.
He led the team with a .389 batting average while posting a team-high 28 hits – 12 of which went for extra bases. He led the squad with a .639 slugging percentage and drew a team-best 10 walks.
Hannon scored a team-high 16 times while starting all 19 games.
He posted a season-best four hits in the win over Augusta while also launching a home run on Senior Day. Hannon swiped a season-best two bases against the Flying Fleet and scored a season-high three times in the win over the Jaguars in April.
The South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month award honors one student-athlete each month from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort. Each month during the 2022-23 athletic year one winner will be chosen from an in-season sport.
