INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is fourth in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.

Records are through games played Sunday, Feb. 26. The first record indicates overall Division II record while the second record is against in-region opponents.

Head coach Mark Vanderslice's team won the PBC regular-season title. The team's overall Division II record is 20-7 as is the squad's in-region record.

UNC Pembroke (26-2, 26-2) is the No. 1 team in the rankings while Augusta (22-5, 21-5) is second. Lincoln Memorial (25-3, 25-3) rounds out the top three teams.

USC Aiken is fourth and is followed by North Georgia (20-6, 20-6). Catawba (20-7, 20-7) is sixth while Lander (19-8, 19-8), Tusculum (15-10, 15-10), Newberry (19-9, 19-9) and Young Harris (19-9, 18-9) round out the rankings. 

The NCAA Selection Show will be Sunday night.
