AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball standout Marta Rivera has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

With a short week, the PBC included the last two contests.

Rivera, a native of Madrid, Spain, had a spectacular week for the Pacers.

At No. 6 Catawba on Dec. 16, Rivera erupted for a career-high and game-best 20 points on eight-of-12 shooting. She also snagged six rebounds and had two assists in 20 minutes of work.

At Coker, Rivera once again tied her career high with a game-high 20 points. She converted nine-of-10 shots from the floor and made two-of-three from the charity stripe. Rivera posted a team-high five rebounds, notched a team-best four steals and dished out two assists.
