Each week, USC Aiken will post notes. This week, USC Aiken hosts Lander on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Mars Hill for Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Pink Out & Employee Appreciation Day
This week, the Pacers host North Georgia on Wednesday. The team will don pink socks during the match. Additionally, it will be Employee Appreciation Day at Pacer Pit.
Senior Day
Saturday's match against Mars Hill will also be Senior Day for USC Aiken. Daniel Aileman,
Felipe Cerda,
Hippolyte Denis,
Wynston Johnson and
Ejemai Ohiwerei will be honored prior to the match. This will take place 10 minutes before the contest starts.
New Week, Same Story
Jose Rabadan continues to thrive this season. The newcomer found the back of the net for the match-winning goal at Georgia Southwestern on Saturday. He has scored a team-best five goals and has assisted on each of USC Aiken's other four goals this season.
Oh Captain, My Captain
Wynston Johnson has been a formidable part of USC Aiken's line-up since his arrival on campus. The captain was outstanding once again in last week's win at Georgia Southwestern. Johnson dished out an assist on what turned out to be the match-winning goal.
Clean Sheet
The defense stepped up at Georgia Southwestern in the 1-0 victory. Through solid play, the squad allowed 11 shots in the match. However, only one of the attempts was on goal. That shot was stopped by
Cason Donahue en route to earning the clean sheet.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USC Aiken hosts Lander on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Mars Hill for Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 21. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 44-117-19 (29.7 percent) in Wednesday matches and 67-124-18 (36.4 percent) in Saturday contests. During that time, the Pacers are 1-6 on Oct. 18 and 2-4-1 on Oct. 21.
Against The Opponents
This week, USC Aiken hosts Lander on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Mars Hill for Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 21. The Bearcats hold a 43-3-1 lead in the all-time series while the Pacers and Lions have each won two matches in the series.
