AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head men's soccer coach Ike Ofoje, is excited to announce the upcoming 2022 schedule.

Nine home matches highlight the 2022 slate, including three consecutive home contests to open the season.

The Pacers begin the 2022 campaign against nearby foe Newberry on Aug. 31. Three days later, the team plays another non-conference contest at home against Barton before wrapping up the three-match homestand with the PBC opener against Clayton State on Sept. 7.

Ofoje's team heads to Georgia Southwestern on Sept. 10 but returns home on Sept. 14 to square off against Lander.

The Pacers hit the road for matches at Catawba (Sept. 17) and Flagler (Sept. 21). However, USC Aiken returns home for four of its next six matches, starting with a home date against 2021 NCAA Tournament foe Young Harris on Sept. 24. 

The team heads to North Georgia on Sept. 28 before hosting the Hurricanes on Oct. 1. After making the short trek to Greenwood to face the Bearcats, USC Aiken hosts Belmont Abbey (Oct. 8) and Flagler (Oct. 12). 

The Pacers play two of the final three remaining regular-season matches away from home. Ofoje's team travels to the Mountain Lions (Oct. 15) and Lakers (Oct. 19) before closing out the regular season at home against the Nighthawks (Oct. 22). 

PBC Tournament play begins Oct. 29.
