AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team is set for the upcoming PBC Tournament, which begins this weekend.
The format is different from previous seasons. This year, the top four seeds will host a best-of-three series against one opponent (#1 vs. #8, #2 vs. #7, #3 vs. #6, #4 vs. #5) with the winners advancing to a double-elimination tournament May 13-15. The double-elimination portion of the tournament will be held at the highest remaining seed.
The Pacers (20-27, 12-15) earned the No. 7 seed and will head to No. 2 Georgia College (30-17, 18-9) this weekend for the best-of-three series, which begins Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m. The second game will be held on Sunday, May 8 at 1 p.m. If necessary, the third game will be held immediately following the conclusion of the Sunday afternoon contest.

Tournament Site
USC Aiken made the championship game of the tournament in two of the last three seasons in which the league tournament was held (2018, 2019). The Pacers won the PBC Tournament in 1992 and 1993 while also finishing runner up at the event in 2007.
