History Repeats Itself…
In the victory over Catawba on Nov. 30,
Jentri Worley drained a three-point shot just before the buzzer for the one-point overtime victory. Against Clayton State, Worley increased her degree of difficulty and once again hit a last-second shot for a one-point victory. This time, Worley was a step inside of halfcourt and banked home the game-winning shot, helping the Pacers go to 1-0 in the PBC.
Breanna Is Ballin'
Rookie
Breanna Gustave had another solid effort in the win over Clayton State. She poured in 18 points and snagged eight rebounds, including three on the offensive glass. Gustave registered a game-high and career-high five steals as well.
Blue Chips
In her first collegiate experience,
Kelsie Woodard saw 17 minutes of action and made a huge impact for the Pacers. She scored eight points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds in the victory.
Getting To The Line
Head coach
Mark Miller's team managed to get to the line 32 times in the 71-70 victory over Clayton State. The Pacers connected on 23 of the attempts (71.9 percent).
Emily Trushel hit all five of her attempts while
Kelsie Woodard and
Jentri Worley each hit all four of their shots.
Madison Williams and
Breanna Gustave each hit three free throws while
Annalise Malone and
Marta Rivera nailed two charity tosses apiece.
Inside The Number
This week, USC Aiken has a home game on Friday, Dec. 16 against Coker before playing at Kentucky State on Monday, Dec. 19. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 31-24 in Friday games (56.4 percent) and 71-44 in Monday games (61.7 Percent). During the same time, the team is 4-5 on Dec. 16 and 1-6 on Dec. 19.

This week, USC Aiken has a home game on Friday, Dec. 16 against Coker before playing at Kentucky State on Monday, Dec. 19. The Pacers lead the all-time series against the Cobras 8-1, having won the last four games in the series. The teams have not met since Nov. 25, 2007. USC Aiken and KSU are tied in the all-time series 1-1.
