AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's cross country team is set for the upcoming PBC Championship, which will take place Saturday at Redcliffe Plantation in Beech Island, S.C.

Augusta is serving as the host institution. The 8k race will begin at 9 a.m. Admission is free and pets are prohibited.

Head coach Marshall Leonard's team will consist of Tyler Blowe, Joey Burdick, Jason Embrose, Julian Mendoza, Juan Wiley and David Witt.

This year, Mendoza posted the second-fastest 8k time in school history with a mark of 27:50.82 at the Asics Invitational. 

Each student-athlete has posted personal-best marks during the 2022 campaign.

A year ago, the Pacers took seventh at the PBC Championship.
