CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The USCA men's cross country team finished 13
th at the Queen City Invite Friday evening.
Head coach
Jim Sprecher's team was led by
Daniel Kiprono's 35
th-place finish. He crossed the line in 26:22.1, which marked the fourth-fastest 8k time in school history. Newcomer
Collins Lagat notched a time of 26:47.3, which was good enough for 44
th place.
Zachary Haase accounted for a time of 26:54.1, allowing him to take 50
th place.
Evan McLeod accounted for 118
th place after posting a time of 29:58.9.
Andrew Towner secured 123
rd place with a mark of 30:18.5.
Avery Farthing was right behind him, taking 124
th after posting a time of 30:19.6.
Cameron Clark crossed the line in 32:14.2 (135
th place) while
David Tarantino secured a time of 33:39.8.
Charlotte won the meet while North Florida and Marshall rounded out the top three teams.
The Pacers return to action Friday, Sept. 25, when they travel to Middle Georgia for the PBC Preview.
