INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 5 University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team will host one of the two locations for the NCAA Southeast Regional May 11-12, which was announced Tuesday evening.
The Pacers (16-3) are the No. 2 seed in the region. The squad will host No. 3 Wingate (19-4), No. 6 Queens (14-5) and No. 7 North Georgia (15-7).
Two matches will be played on Saturday, May 11 with the second round match to be played on Sunday, May 12.
It marks the first time USC Aiken has ever hosted a tennis regional. Head coach
Steve Dahm's team finished second in the PBC and advanced to the PBC Championship before falling to No. 1 Columbus State.
USC Aiken will open the tournament Saturday against North Georgia at 10 a.m. Wingate and Queens will square off at 2 p.m.
