AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team is No. 37 in the latest ITA National Rankings and No. 8 in the NCAA Southeast Region, which were released Wednesday afternoon.

The Pacers moved up from No. 38 in the previous rankings.

USC Aiken (14-4) was represented in the singles rankings as well. First-team all-conference honoree Elena Bompieri is No. 55 nationally.

In the region rankings, Wingate is No. 1. The Bulldogs are followed by Columbus State, Tusculum, North Georgia, Queens, Flagler and Georgia College. The Pacers are eighth – and in front of No. 9 Lenoir-Rhyne.
