AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team is No. 6 in the latest ITA National Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.
After a win over then-No. 8 Lander, the Pacers jumped to No. 6 from No. 14. Head coach
Steve Dahm's team is currently 11-2 overall and 4-2 in league play.
In singles action,
Antonio Sabugueiro is No. 59 in Division II. He is currently 11-2 on the season. Overall, Sabugueiro is 3-0 at the No. 2 spot and 8-2 at No. 3.
The doubles tandem of
Salvador Bandeira and Sabugueiro are No. 15 in the national rankings. The duo is 11-2 on the year – with all 11 wins coming at the top spot.
USC Aiken returns to action tomorrow when it hosts No. 18 Georgia College in a PBC match starting at 3 p.m.
