AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team is No. 36 in the latest ITATennis.com national rankings and is ninth in the NCAA Southeast Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.
The Pacers remained at No. 36 for the second consecutive week. The team defeated Young Harris last week before falling to then-No. 11 North Georgia on Monday.
Elena Bompieri rose to No. 45 in the latest singles rankings. Last week, she was No. 49.
Head coach
Steve Dahm's team completed the regular season with a 14-3 mark, including a 6-3 ledger in league play.
USC Aiken earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming PBC Tournament, which starts Friday in Florence, S.C.
