Throughout the 2018 season, the USC Aiken Athletic Communications office will provide weekly notes, giving all of Pacer Nation an in-depth look at the team.
Weather Wins Again
This has been a strange season to say the least for several teams due to the weather. USC Aiken saw its match against Erskine be halted due to the rain at halftime. The Pacers were up 1-0, but the contest will not count because it did not reach the required minute mark.
Playing With The Best
USC Aiken opened the league slate with a pair of top-10 matches and played well against top-notch competition. Although the team suffered a 1-0 loss to No. 10 Lander, the squad played very well against the talented team.
Schedule Changes
The Pacers were supposed to play at Mars Hill on Wednesday, Oct. 10. However, the match has been cancelled due to the Lions being forced to make up a South Atlantic Conference contest. The USC Aiken-King match has been moved from Oct. 2 to Oct. 10.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USC Aiken hits the road to play Georgia Southwestern on Saturday, Oct. 6. The Pacers are 62-106-16 (38.0 percent) in Saturday contests since moving to Division II. During that same time, the squad is 4-1-2 on Oct. 6.
Against The Opponent
