AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team is No. 40 in the initial ITATennis.com national rankings, which were recently released.
Head coach
Steve Dahm's team wrapped up the 2016 campaign at No. 42 nationally.
The team is coming off an NCAA Tournament berth and was one of nine league teams ranked in the top 10 of the region rankings.
Senior
Julien Tan is set to start the 2017 season as the No. 45 singles player. In the region, he earned the No. 15 ranking. Tan is coming off a season where he primarily played at the No. 1 position, earning 11 victories. He also teamed up with former USC Aiken standout
Ettore Damiani for a 13-5 doubles record.
Tan and the rest of the Pacers open the 2017 campaign Feb. 1 at Georgia Gwinnett at 2 p.m.
